Lord Lisvane on Governance of the City of London
We are seeking:
- Greater influence in how our service charge is spent
- A mechanism by which the whole of the fabric of the Barbican Estate can be looked after by one body as opposed to the 7 different groups that currently share responsibility
- Greater attention being paid to the views of residents who are here 24 hours a day for many years and are impacted by the City’s decisions.
We discussed these with Members of the Court of Common Council.
In March 2020 the BA and RCC submitted evidence to a review of City of London governance conducted by Lord Lisvane.
