The candidates for the Ward elections have now been confirmed:
Randall Anderson, Helen Fentimen, Stephen Goodman, Jeremy Mayhew, Deborah Oliver, Adam Richardson, Anett Rideg and Naresh Sonpar.
Mark Bostock, Anne Corbett, Frances Leach, Elizabeth King, Natasha Lloyd-Owen, Shazaah Masood, Susan Pearson, Paul Singh, Simon Walsh and Ceri Wilkins.
The Barbican Association has arranged hustings for each Ward at St Giles Church. All candidates will be invited to speak – about themselves and why they are standing – for three minutes each.
Voters in each Ward will be able to ask their candidates questions. However, in view of the number of candidates and the time their speeches will take up, only written questions will be taken, unless the Chair considers there is sufficient time to take additional questions from the floor.
Voters are asked to submit their questions to the BA’s Hon Secretary by email to email@example.com by 5.00pm on the day of the relevant hustings:
For Cripplegate at 7.00pm on Monday, 7th March; and
For Aldersgate at 7.00pm on Tuesday, 8th March.
