The cake sale at the Barbican Association Summer Party raised £854.27 for St Luke’s.

A big thank you came from them to all who took part in the event.

St Luke’s will designate this donation to their newly opened community shop.

“We are thrilled to launch the St Luke’s Community Shop & Café –  a more sustainable and empowering food project designed to support local residents on low incomes. For just £5 a week, members can choose a basket of fresh food and essentials, while also gaining access to a welcoming space to connect, seek advice and feel supported. This initiative is a true community effort and we are especially grateful to the Barbican residents for donating the proceeds from their recent cake sale to help bring this project to life.”
